OVERVIEW

This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to produce paper based publications such as flyers, posters, invitations, brochures, letterheads and business cards.

OVERVIEW

Use a computer to present and display personal documents. Tasks may include invitations, brochures and resumes using Adobe Indesign and Adobe Photoshop.

Focus on the computer as a communication tool for business, clubs, societies etc to produce letters, reports, tables, financial statements and newsletters.

OVERVIEW

This course is designed for students that have very little understanding on how to operate a computer. It will include

COURSE LENGTH : 1 Semester, 1 day per week (Tuesday)

OVERVIEW

This Certificate is broken down into 4 key areas listed below. There is a focus on systems maintenance for both hardware and software. Windows 7 machines are used and Microsoft Word, Access and Excel.

This Certificate is broken down into 2 key areas listed below. There is a focus on Webpage design using Dreamweaver and Systems Maintenance.

HTML/DREAMWEAVER/JAVA

Create user documentation; provide advice to clients; use advanced features of computer applications; create a simple mark-up language document to specifications. Develop macros and templates for clients using standard products; use developmental software and its tools to build a website.

COMPUTER OPERATIONS

Migrate to new technology; apply occupational health and safety procedures; care for computer hardware; customise packaged software applications for clients; implement system software changes; install and optimise operating system software; connnect internal hardware components; run standard diagnostic tests.
